We are a unified coalition of advocacy, clinical excellence, and digital innovation. Our mission is to dismantle the barriers facing neurodivergent individuals through a scalable ecosystem that integrates government relations, evidence-based therapy, and tech-enabled resource accessibility. We don’t just advocate for a better future; we build the infrastructure to sustain it.
The foundation of our organization was laid by a mother’s promise to ensure that neurodevelopmental disabilities are no longer lived in the shadows. What began as a personal quest to navigate a landscape of delayed diagnoses and cultural stigma evolved into Andy Speaks 4 SNP Africa, a Pan-African movement dedicated to systemic inclusion.
As our advocacy influenced national policy, we identified a critical “triple threat” hindering progress: the high cost of clinical care, a severe shortage of qualified specialists, and the long distances families must travel for support. To address these systemic barriers, we expanded our framework to include Nexus Therapy Centres and the Neurodiversity Resource Hub. Today, we provide the essential bridge between legislative rights and the practical clinical resources families need to thrive
A future where every individual, regardless of ability, is empowered to thrive within an inclusive community united in holistic well-being.
To be the voice of special needs persons for policy change and to facilitate rehabilitation and growth in areas such as cognitive abilities, speech, and physical health.
Cultivating a supportive, compassionate, and inclusive environment for therapy.
Enabling individuals to gain the confidence and independence needed to achieve their full potential.
Committing to professional standards and innovation for the best possible therapeutic outcome.
Prioritizing empathy and personalized care tailored to the unique strengths of each individual.
Providing holistic resources and guidance for both individuals and their entire caregiver network.
Our organization is led by a multi-disciplinary board and executive leadership that balances deep lived experience with global clinical standards. Under the leadership of Dr. Sylvia Mochabo Akinsiku, a 2024 Varkey Foundation Top 50 Global Teacher Prize Finalist and an award-winning inclusion champion, we have institutionalized a framework that is recognized both locally and internationally.
As a registered entity with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) and a strategic partner of the Ministry of Health, we operate within the strict legal and ethical guidelines of the Kenyan Constitution and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPDs). Our status as a member of the World Rehabilitation Alliance (WHO) further cements our commitment to bringing global best practices to the neurodevelopmental landscape in Africa.
Leveraging our influence at national and global levels (WHO, Ministry of Health) to drive legislative change and secure social protection for persons with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Delivering evidence-based, community-based rehabilitation through Nexus Therapy Centres, specializing in Occupational, Speech, and Physiotherapy.
Bridging the information gap via the Neurodiversity Resource Hub, a centralized portal for vetted service-provider mapping, AI-driven guidance, and post-diagnosis support.
Our roadmap for the future is built on the sustainability of our “Village” model. By digitizing our clinical expertise through the Neurodiversity Resource Hub and expanding the reach of Nexus Therapy Centres, we are moving toward a pan-African standard of care that is both scalable and accessible.
We are committed to continuous institutional growth through research-driven advocacy and the adoption of assistive technologies. Our goal is to ensure that the infrastructure we have built remains a permanent fixture in Africa’s health and education sectors, providing a reliable foundation for the neurodivergent community for generations to come.
