Effective Date: April 8/1/2026
Welcome to the digital platforms of Andy Speaks 4 Special Needs Persons Africa. This unified Privacy Policy applies to our complete digital ecosystem, which includes our informational and service websites:
Andy Speaks 4 SNP Main Site: andyspeaks4snp.org
Neurodiversity Resource Hub: neurodiversityresourcehub.org
Nexus Therapy Centres: nexustherapycentres.com
Mobile & Web Application: NeuroRehub
Your privacy and the security of your personal and sensitive data are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you browse our websites, access our resources, book therapies, or use the NeuroRehub app.
We collect information across our platforms to provide personalized, neurodiversity-affirming support and to improve our web services. The type of data we collect depends on how you interact with our ecosystem.
General Inquiries & Bookings (Websites): Name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide when filling out contact forms, subscribing to newsletters, or requesting a therapy assessment at Nexus Therapy Centres.
Account Information (App): Name, email address, password, and authentication data required to create a NeuroRehub account.
Profile Data (App): Information regarding your relationship to neurodiversity (e.g., self-advocate, caregiver, professional) and any specific diagnosis or challenges you choose to share to personalize your app experience.
Health & Wellbeing Logs (App): Entries you make in the NeuroRehub Mood Tracker, including emotional states, triggers, and daily journals. Note: This is considered Sensitive Personal Data.
AI Chat Data (App): Questions, context, and information you share while conversing with our AI assistant, Neuro AI.
Website Usage Data: When you visit our websites, we automatically collect basic analytics, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Our websites use cookies to ensure proper functionality, remember your preferences, and help us understand how visitors use our sites. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Local Storage (App): Certain app features, such as your full Neuro AI chat history, are stored locally on your device (e.g., in your browser’s localStorage) to maintain your privacy and prevent unnecessary continuous cloud syncing of conversational data.
We use the information we collect strictly to deliver, maintain, and improve our services across all platforms:
To Provide Core App Features: To authenticate your NeuroRehub account, securely save your mood logs across devices, and generate personalized affirmations.
To Power Neuro AI: To allow our AI assistant to maintain conversational context and provide empathetic, relevant advice specific to your situation.
To Manage Services & Bookings: To process inquiries, schedule therapy assessments at Nexus Therapy Centres, and communicate regarding services.
To Improve Our Digital Ecosystem: To analyze broad, anonymized usage trends on our websites and app, allowing us to optimize user experience and expand the resources offered by the Neurodiversity Resource Hub.
Communication: To contact you occasionally regarding appointment reminders, app updates, new resources, or emergency psychosocial support options (you may opt out of marketing communications at any time).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third parties. We only share data with trusted infrastructure partners essential for the operation of our websites and app:
Cloud Infrastructure: Your app account data, encrypted mood logs, and website databases are securely stored on our backend servers (e.g., Supabase).
Artificial Intelligence Partners: Your NeuroRehub chat inputs and mood data are temporarily processed by third-party Large Language Models (e.g., Groq / Llama) to generate AI responses. Important: Our AI partners process this data strictly to fulfill your prompt. Your highly sensitive health conversations are not permitted to be permanently stored by these third-party companies to train their public models.
Website Analytics & Hosting: We use standard, privacy-compliant hosting and analytics providers to monitor website performance and security.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if legally required to do so by local law enforcement or to protect the safety and rights of neurodivergent individuals and our users.
Because our ecosystem handles sensitive data (including mental health trajectories and neurodevelopmental information), we implement strict security measures:
Encryption: Data transmitted between your device and our servers (for both the websites and the app) is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
AI Data Obfuscation: The secure connection from the app to our AI providers is masked behind our own internal servers (Edge Functions) to prevent personal API tracking or targeted ad profiling.
Minimal Retention: We intentionally design our app’s conversational histories to rely heavily on your device’s local storage rather than permanent cloud clusters.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and global standards like the GDPR), you hold strict rights over your personal and sensitive data:
Right to Access: You can request a copy of all data attached to your account or collected via our websites.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may delete individual mood entries natively in the app, or request complete account, database, and contact record deletion by contacting us.
Right to Rectification: You may update your profile details or contact information at any time.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for data processing (e.g., unsubscribing from newsletters or deleting your app account) at any time.
Our websites, the NeuroRehub app, and Neuro AI do not provide medical diagnoses.
The content provided across our digital platforms and the AI responses generated are for educational, administrative, and psychosocial support purposes only. Engaging with our websites or sharing personal data with the AI does not constitute a doctor-patient relationship.
If you or someone you care for is experiencing a severe mental health crisis or immediate medical danger, please contact national emergency hotlines or proceed to the nearest emergency room immediately. Our platforms and AI are not actively monitored by human emergency responders.
